With nearly two decades of experience and an international team, it delivers flexible, cost-effective banking software for institutions of all sizes. Its solutions are used in regulated banking and payments environments across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
As part of the company’s development team, you will design and implement system enhancements and new products to meet client and business requirements. The role spans the full software development lifecycle of the company’s platform.
The ideal candidate brings strong coding and debugging skills, enjoys contributing to an evolving product, and is ready to guide less experienced developers and review their work.
Key tasks
Define system design by analysing business requirements
Develop, test and maintain robust, scalable .NET-based applications using best practices, and modify highly complex systems
Observe, test, debug and correct faults in software; troubleshoot issues reported by users or found through testing
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data for new and existing systems
Conduct research and analysis to support solution design
Produce documentation: technical specifications, unit test scripts, API docs and software designs
Incorporate industry security standards (e.g. OWASP) into design and code
Provide technical guidance to developers and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
Optimise application performance through tuning and profiling
Integrate third-party libraries, APIs and services as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, database administrators and UI/UX designers on requirements, schemas and interfaces
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, estimation and delivery
Maintain version control and track changes using Git
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work to deadline
Essential skills
Strong coding skills in C# .NET and .NET Core
5+ years of hands-on software development experience
Strong working knowledge of RDBMS systems and excellent SQL skills
Recent experience (within the last 2 years) working on high-availability, transaction-processing or other mission-critical systems
Excellent problem analysis and communication skills
Demonstrated use of coding design patterns
Solid working knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools
Experience leading, mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers
Fluent written and spoken English (C1 or above)
BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field
Desirable skills
Development work in banking or payments systems
Knowledge of accounting and/or banking terminology and procedures
Experience with identity systems, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
Experience with Scrum and Kanban
Cloud and Azure experience highly regarded
Docker experience highly regarded
